2024 Giving Campaign:
National Breast Cancer Foundation
Every year, I match Everbloom Goods sales with donations to a cause that has meaning to me. For 2024, I have chosen to spotlight the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Last year, I was diagnosed with stage 2 invasive ductal adenocarcinoma. Big scary words. Through surgery and radiation, I am now cancer free and navigating the aftermath.
1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
In 2023, an estimated 297,790 women and 2,800 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer. Chances are, you know at least one person who has been personally affected by breast cancer.
But there is hope. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%. Advances in early detection and treatment methods have significantly increased breast cancer survival rates in recent years, and there are currently over 3.8 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.

2023 Giving Campaign: Alzheimer’s Association
Granka
I lost my Granka to dementia in February, 2009. He was 89.
Dad
I lost my Dad to dementia in May, 2022. He was 78.
Every year, I match Everbloom Goods sales with donations to a cause that has meaning to me. For 2023, I have chosen to spotlight the Alzheimer’s Association. This disease takes a long and cruel toll on the patient and family. From alz.org:
Worldwide, 55 million people are living with Alzheimer's and other dementias.
Alzheimer’s disease is a degenerative brain disease and the most common form of dementia. Dementia is not a specific disease. It's an overall term that describes a group of symptoms.
If you can spare time or money, I encourage you to look into how you can help at www.alz.org. Thank you!
